The season finally got underway this weekend. The 2nds battled hard at Dale Field on Saturday against Flintham but were unable to dismiss Matt Lyas who batted through for 86* in a total of 179. Collingham debutant Guy Ellerton caught the eye with an impressive 3-29. In reply a good start was not backed up by the middle order as the batsmen closed out on 137. Ross Taylor top scored with 42.

On Sunday Wraggy's second team put in a big score with the bat (253) against Lowdham. Will Brook topped the batting with 81 with good support from Olly Dyson 52 and Jono Todd 51. David Sears lead with way with the ball taking 3-10 as the visitors closed on 85.
